Toyota Corolla AE86 Eibach Pro-kit Springs
| When modifying
your Corolla many people will first upgrade
their suspension. The AE86 is a great
handling front-engine, rear wheel drive
car from the factory, but as they age,
many of their suspension pieces are worn
and in rough shape. Adding Eibach Pro-kit
Springs not only improves the handling
and performance but adds an aggressive,
lowered appearance to your Corolla. Eibach's
vast expertise of suspension components
is shown off here with their Pro-kit springs.
These will lower your AE86 approximately
1.6 inches, giving you just the right
amount of lowering for increased performance
and around town comfort. Lowered cars

their competition quality shock absorbers
into Canada and the US. HTS is by far,
the most versatile shock absorber for
the AE86 Toyota Corolla as it allows over
45 ways of infinite adjustment from street,
strip drift to race.
With a super wide-range of adjustment,
the capability of the HTS adjustable shocks
allow these to be a multi-use product.
Very sophisticated piston and valving
design, combined with a unique variable-aperture
bypass controlled by an adjustable slide,
the HTS adjustments change both rebound
and compression dampening simultaneously.
Between the hard and soft settings, the
HTS is infinitely adjustable.
This means, you can soften up the shocks
for street and daily driving, or winter
and slipper conditions to allow the car
to absorb and bite the wet conditions,

Lowering your AE86 helps with both appearance
and performance but to optimize its' handling,
the suspension geometry must also be altered
as you lower it. Like many older MacPherson
Strut designed cars with shorter front
lower control arms, the more you lower
the AE86, the more you affect the suspension
geometry. With the AE86, lowering can
drastically change the front role center.
To correct the front changes in geometry
from lowering, Whiteline have introduced
the Roll Center Adjustment kit (KCA363).
A beautiful gold anodized billet aluminum
spacer, these components help to re-align
the front lower control arms back to proper
specs once your AE86 has been lowered.
Simply fitted between the top of the front
lower control arm and the bottom of the
front strut, this spacer will help to
re-align your roll center after lowering
the car. |

Adjustable Lateral Rod Arm
In the rear the stock panhard rod or lateral
rod will push your rear end off center if
left untouched. To fix this an adjustable
rod is needed that can correctly center your
rear end. Whiteline's panhard rod (KPR010)
fits the bill perfectly. The adjustability
allows for different variances of lowering
and adjustability, perfect for those that
run lowering springs or adjustable coil-overs,
and need the adjustment. Fitted with Super
Pro polyurethane bushings, these beefy bars
make for a nice addition to your Corolla.

AE86 Adjustable Swaybars
The
roll center of your car was discussed above,
but what about just plain chassis roll ? During
spirited street driving, track racing, or
auto-x,the amount of body roll your car has
can be very detrimental to the speed you are
able to carry into, through and out of corners,
slowing your overall lap times. The weight
of your car leaning onto one side puts a great
amount of stresses on that side's suspension
components and tires, and does not allow the
inside tires to take it's share of the cornering
loads. Plain and simple, a floppy car does
not handle nice, and does not instill any
confidence in the driver.
To really beef up your suspension and to
greatly improve lateral grip we highly recommend
Whiteline's adjustable front and rear anti-sway
bars. Whiteline's adjustable sway bars are
extremely popular with our Nissan 240SX and
Subaru Impreza and WRX customers, and we are
very excited to offer them to the Toyota AE86
crowd !
Adding adjustable swaybars is one of our
first recommendations, as the differences
before and after are like night and day. The
gains alone of a sway bar are tremendous with
the most common response being "this
is how the car SHOULD be". For the AE86
we offer 4 WAY adjustable front and rear bars
which come with the proper links to correctly
install them. Adjustability is so critical
to a car's overall state of suspension tuning,
allowing the owner to custom set up his ride
to his needs and desires. Want a car with
more oversteer for drift - you can quickly
stiffen up the rear bar for effortless slide
action. Like to soften up and gain more bite
on rainy or slick days, simply soften up your
swaybars for increased bite in slick condition.

endlinks.

These links are designed
and engineered for serious race and auto-x
applications, for customers with adjustable
suspensions that require adjustable endlinks
for the Whiteline adjustable swaybars for
corner weighing purposes. Stock Whiteline
links are great for street cars, but for
demanding racers and enthusiasts know that
in order to properly corner weigh cars and
balance their car's suspension, adjustable
links are an absolute must.
Using superior quality Aurora
Teflon lined rod ends (not cheap inferior
quality rod ends) PDM has pieced together
these adjustable links for high performance
use. These are high strength, 3 piece precision
alloy units, constructed with chrome moly
alloy steel bodies, alloy steel races with
Teflon liners for precision fit and durability,
and alloy steel hard chromed heat treated
balls.

To stiffen up the front end of the AE86 chassis
we offer the Whiteline front upper adjustable
alloy strut brace. For a reasonable price
you can stiffen up the front end of your car
and dress up your clean engine bay. Polished,
aluminum alloy center brace with adjustable
ends, this strut brace will help to solidify
your front upper chassis.

NGK Spark Plug Wires
When a spark plug fires, it
creates a great deal of radio frequency interference
(RFI). Uncontrolled, this can show up as static
in the radio or other electronic devices,
or much more seriously, in electronic ignitions,
fuel injection, and engine management systems.
This interference with EFI and engine management
systems can cause "cross talk" between
wiring harnesses resulting in poor running,
misfiring and decreased performance.
NGK Resistor Spark Plug Wire
Sets utilize a construction method known as
"variable pitch" wire winding to
create resistance to radio frequency interference.
The variable pitch winding (loose/tight/loose)
provides suppression throughout a very wide
range by "scrambling" and breaking
up the electrical waves radiated by the firing
of the spark plugs.

NGK Iridium IX Plugs
Iridium
is a silver-white precious metal that is among
the densest materials on earth. Since
it’s so dense, it will outlast Platinum
and Copper plugs. Plus this ultra-
hard material also enables the plug center
electrode to be 25% narrower than Platinum,
and 75% narrower than conventional nickel
electrodes, which requires less voltage to
spark, and delivers increased burn efficiency,
sparks at leaner air/fuel mixtures, and
produces better gas mileage and higher horsepower.
Iridium plugs are a must for turbocharged
and high compression or high revving
NA motors.
NTK Oxygen Sensor

O2 sensors, or Oxygen
Sensors, are used in your ae86 Corolla
to help control the fuel and ignition
system, to allow proper fuel mixture
for idle, performance and fuel mileage.
O2 sensors are located in your exhaust
manifold, and monitor the amount of
Oxygen in your exhaust gases, which
in turn indicate the fuel mixture. O2
sensors send signals to the computer,
which then adjusts timing and fuel delivery.
Most cars are very sensitive to proper
O2 sensor function, and without an O2
sensor, these cars will idle erratically,
run excessively rich, and give poor
performance and mileage. Also an improperly
working O2 sensor will plug up your
catalytic converter causing it to smell
like rotten eggs (and give very poor
performance). O2 sensors DO plug up,
and wear out over time, and we strongly
recommend you change your O2 sensor
once a year.

Why should you upgrade to cross drilled
rotors?
Simply stated, the function of any vehicles
brake system is to stop the vehicle. This
is accomplished by absorbing the kinetic energy
stored in the moving vehicle, and converting
it into heat. The friction caused by the brake
pad rubbing on the rotor is the source of
this heat. The more quickly and efficiently
that heat can be absorbed and dissipated,
the more quickly and efficiently the car will
stop.
There are several contributing factors to
this heat reduction. One of the most common
sources of heat is from the gases produced
by the bonding agents of the brake pad burning
off. Under severe braking, this can actually
produce a boundary layer of gas that pushes
the pad away from the rotor, which can lead
to excessive brake fade. The cross-drilled
holes or slots in a rotor provide an escape
path for these gasses (de-gassing or out-gassing
are common terms), and allow the pad to stay
in contact with the rotor. As well as de-gassing,
cross drilling or slotting will provide better
wet weather braking as water is swept through
the holes, or down the slots.

PDM Racing lately in our street
and racing Corollas, and have found the Hawk

In the past we've bought and sold DOT brake line kits from suppliers like Russell and Goodridge; however, we constantly were fighting manufacturer back-orders and lee times which frustrated the hell out of the owner. To solve this problem we purchased Western Canada's only Brakequip brakeline manufacturing machine and now mafacture our own DOT stainless brake lines in house. What this has given PDM the ability to do is to custom make DOT Stainless brakelines for most vehicle applications.

Brake Line Kits. These brake lines meet
the strict guidelines of the D.O.T. MVSS-106
requirements for street driven vehicles

braided hose with zinc plated fittings assembled
for installation convenience. Replacement
of original Toyota rubber lines with Brakestop
brake lines increases braking performance
and reduces brake pedal travel due to the
elimination of hose expansion common to

Brake Fluid
| DOT 5.1 BRAKE FLUID
This polyglycol based brake fluid vastly
exceeds the highest DOT specs. For use
in all systems that require a DOT 3,
DOT 4 or DOT 5.1 fluid. With its very
low viscosity, this brake fluid is specially
designed for today's newer ABS systems
where a very thin fluid is needed to
circulate in modern complex ABS systems
with microvalves and anti-locking systems.
Also for older, first generation ABS
systems more sensitive to a brake fluid's
viscosity. A full synthetic based fluid
that has unreal 509 degree dry boiling
point, and similar 365 degree wet boiling
point, it will outlast all normal Dot
3 and Dot 4 fluids easily. PDM has been
testing this fluid and find it vastly
superior to any other street fluid on
the market. Each container is filled
with nitrogen to increase the shelf
life and eliminate contamination while
factory sealed.

Russell Speed Bleeders
Everyone knows that
one of the most difficult parts of any
brake job is finding someone willing
to help you bleed the brakes. Russell
Speed Bleeders can change that forever.
The computer engineered and wound spring
controls the movement of the centerless
ground 410 stainless steel ball so that
air and moisture are unable to enter
the system when the brake pedal is released.
Translation - you no longer have to
act as a human valve, opening and closing
the bleeder screw between brake pedal
pumps. Open the Speed Bleeder before
you start pumping the brake pedal, and
close after you finish pumping dirty
fluid and air out of the brake system.

Swaybars
The new Toyota Celica has quickly become a
popular car for enthusiasts who enjoy the driving
experience. Unfortunately most cars come "watered
down" from the dealership to suit the masses.
For those individuals who want something a little
extra we offer improved handling for the Celica
in the way of Whiteline's very popular front
and rear sway bars. For the front we are proud
to carry the BTF72Z, a 24mm solid adjustable
sway bar. For the rear we have the BTR74Z, a
20mm solid adjustable bar. The addition of these
bars will greatly aid your car in maintaining
a flat powerful stance when driving through
anything from tight sharp corners to long high-speed
corners. Sway bars will greatly reduce the body
roll of your car. These work very well on stock
cars as well as cars with various other suspension
modifications.

Toyota Supra Adjustable Swaybars
Another simple improvement that can be made
to the Supra's handling is to swap out the tubular
sway bars for solid bars. The stock front bar
is a 30mm tubular bar, Whiteline offers a 30mm
solid bar which offers 50% more stiffness. The
stock rear bar is a 22mm tubular bar which we
recommend changing to the solid 20mm sway bar
which offers a 30% rate increase in stiffness.
Both bars are adjustable allowing for custom
set ups that suit the feel you like and the
type of driving you do.
