flywheel at an affordable price.
A very effective way to decrease the driveline
inertia and increase the SR20DET’s throttle
response, ACT is currently manufacturing
their XACT flywheels in two versions: Pro Lite
(10.25 lbs) for road racing applications and very
quick throttle response, and the slightly heavier
Street Lite (14 lbs) for street and drag racing
vehicles which may require more inertia. Both
ProLite and StreetLite flywheels are precision
made from Chrome-moly forgings and feature an
induction hardened integral ring gear. All ACT
flywheels are CNC machined, heat treated for strength
and precision balanced. Substantial material is
left behind the clutch surface area for better
heat dissipation and durability while weight savings
is made where it matters the most for reduced
inertia.

PDM is pleased to offer Fidanza
aluminum flywheels are made from the highest quality
6061 T6 aluminum. 6061 is fantastic for strength,
heat dissipation and of course reduction in weight.
The friction surface used is an incredibly strong
1050 steel. The plates are milled to meet very
high standards, and a Fidanza flywheel can mate
with any type of clutch material, including organic,
kevlar, ceramic, metallic and sintered iron. Fidanza
attaches the friction surface with military grade
aerospace fasteners, and their ring gears they
use are also made from 1050 steel and are heat
treated for durability. |

| The
gears are heated then pressed on and secured with
grade 8 button screws. In addition, Fidanza is
the first US company to utilize a stepped dowel
system in most of their flywheel applications,
which ensures that once the pressure plate is
installed the dowels cannot be removed because
they become locked into place.
How does a lightweight flywheel
add horsepower?
Adding a lightweight flywheel
does not add any hp to the engine (it can’t,
as any engine in any given state will produce
a given hp based on the temperature and the air
density).
What adding a light flywheel does to your drivetrain
is to lighten the overall reciprocating mass attached
to the end of the engine’s crank, thus allowing
the engine to rev faster thus accelerate faster.
Is it noticeable? Hell yes!! We’ve been
using light flywheels at PDM Racing for years,
and all of our race cars and street cars have
light flywheels in them for increased performance.
Snappier throttle response, and faster spool up,
especially coming out of corners, which translates
into faster times and more victories.

B&M Short Throw Sport Shifter
Adding a short shifter is one of the most
enjoyable modifictaions that you
can install on your 240SX. PDM is pleased
to offer the B&M Super Shifter
for Nissan 240SX/SR20DET applications
at an unheard of introductory price.
Gone is the vagueness and sloppy side to
side play of the factory shifter.
Shifting is now short and precise.

Shifter throw is reduced by 33%.
Base is constructed of billet 6061 T6 aluminum

What

A B&M Short Throw Shifter is a direct,
bolt-on, self-contained unit. When you buy
a B&M Short Throw Shifter, along with
the complete shifter unit, you get explicit
installation instructions. Installation
usually takes about 30 minutes with nothing
more than ordinary hand tools.

to another can result in slower elapsed
times - or just a sluggish feeling when

Megan Racing Short Shifter

This is a direct copy of the above B&M Shifter
at half the price. Made from high strength
billet steel and nickel plated for low friction
and corrosion resistance, this shifter will
reduce the throw by 1/3. Unlike Ebay shifters
that are copies of the C's shifter, this
unit is a complete plug and play shifter
that does not require removal of the stock
shift knob and held together with clumsy
half-moon plates that eventually fall off.
This unit replaces the entire shift assembly
that bolts to the transmission and fits
all 1989-1998 Nissan 240SX's with KA's,
SR's and RB's. Will work with any stock
shift knob (shift knob is not included)
or any aftermarket shift knob that has the
Nissan thread pitch.

provide increased torque capacity, durability,
and extended clutch life. What makes ACT Pressure
Plates the highest standard in the industry?
First, ACT manufacturing always begins with
new units. ACT Pressure Plates are not rebuilt
from worn out parts. Second, pressure is increased
the right way; altering the geometry alone is
not enough. Instead, ACT engineers a stronger
diaphragm which are heat-treated using an exclusive
3-stage process and the release bearing contact
area is hardened to reduce wear. Third, ACT
designs the pressure and release travel of the
unit to be in the optimum working range. Finally,
ACT assures consistency and precision by using
proven assembly procedures. Every unit ACT produces
is accurately balanced and tested.
ACT Heavy Duty kits are designed for OEM to
mild turbo and N.A. applications where torque
capacity is increased by 50% over stock, with
torque ratings of 267 ft/lbs for the KA, and

ACT Xtreme Pressure Plates deliver the maximum
holding power available! For high horsepower
streetcars, this high clamp pressure plate is
combined with an ACT Street Disc to maintain
smooth engagement and obtain high torque capacity.
What makes these units so unique ? The radical
increase in clamp load developed from a single
specially designed diaphragm. ACT employs several
secrets (just good engineering) to maximize
load and reduce flex. The result is maximum
torque capacity and long life, while maintaining
good release clearance for fast, clean shifting.
These kits are designed for cars with serious
hp gains from Nitrous or Turbos boosting more
than stock. Torque capacity is increased by
87% over stock, with torque ratings of 333 ft/lbs
for the KA and 449 ft/lbs for the SR20DET.

PDM Brakestop OEM replacement DOT Stainless braided clutch line
Yes, we've finally started making these. DOT stainless braided clutch
lines that are an OEM replacement for your S13, S14 or Silvia. Very common
problem for the OEM rubber clutch line to break apart from the inside out,
from heat and exposure to the elements underneath your car, and either
bulge, or collapse from the inside out. Replace your clutch line today
for a firmer pedal feel and consistant shifts.

If you wish to remove your stock clutch dampener - this line will increase
your pedal feel even more.
